Deep Surface began as a series of fabrication experiments to produce a replicable panel for building envelopes and interiors.
All versions include the translation of a biological image into digital 3D relief, which is then CNC-milled into Corian.
This process, once automated, would allow the customer to submit their own image and receive affordable custom-made panels as a result.
Panels can include holes as well as a varied thickness, to add visual porosity for use as window screens.
